Scholl’s history began in 1904 when Dr. Scholl, then only 22 years old, patented his first invention – the Foot-Eazer, a revolutionary shoe insert designed to provide arch support. By 1912, Dr. Scholl had founded the Illinois College of Chiropody and Orthopaedics, emphasizing scientific research and education in podiatry.
